Jakob De Brum is a 13-year-old karate athlete from Abingdon who has been selected to represent his country at the World Karate Federation World Cup in Brazil later this year.

Who is Jakob?
Jakob has trained in karate since he was five — over eight years of discipline, sacrifice, and steady progress. He is now a member of the JKS England national squad, competing at open tournaments across the UK and Europe. He has already stood on international podiums. He has more ahead of him than behind him. This is the beginning of something.
