JDB Sports Ltd – General Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services, classes, sessions, training programmes, events, and online content provided by JDB Sports Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).
1.2 By booking, attending, or participating in any JDB Sports Ltd activity, you (“you”, “the customer”, “parent/guardian” if participant is under 18) agree to these Terms.
1.3 We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on request or on our website.

2. Bookings and Payments

2.1 Bookings must be made through our official booking systems, website, or authorised representatives.
2.2 Payment must be made in full before attending any session unless otherwise agreed.
2.3 All fees are non-refundable except where required under UK consumer law or where otherwise stated in these Terms.
2.4 We may refuse a booking or withdraw access to sessions if payment has not been received.3. Cancellations and Refunds

3.1 Customer Cancellations

• Cancellations must be made in writing.
• No refunds are provided for missed sessions, late arrivals, or voluntary withdrawal.
• Credits may be offered at our discretion.

3.2 Provider Cancellations

• If JDB Sports Ltd cancels a session due to staff illness, facility issues, safety reasons, or other unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a replacement session, credit, or refund.
• We are not responsible for costs associated with travel, accommodation, or personal expenses arising from cancellations.

4. Health, Safety & Participation

4.1 You must ensure that participants are physically fit and able to take part in sports activities.
4.2 Any medical conditions, behavioural needs, or additional support requirements must be disclosed before participation.
4.3 JDB Sports Ltd reserves the right to refuse participation if a coach considers it unsafe or inappropriate.
4.4 Participants must follow all instructions from staff to ensure safety.
4.5 We are not responsible for injuries resulting from failure to follow instructions or from behaviour that increases risk.

5. Behaviour & Conduct

5.1 JDB Sports Ltd promotes a positive, respectful environment.
5.2 We may remove a participant from a session if behaviour is unsafe, abusive, disruptive, or negatively impacts others.
5.3 No refund will be issued for removal due to poor behaviour.

6. Safeguarding

6.1 JDB Sports Ltd follows UK safeguarding legislation and has a dedicated safeguarding policy.
6.2 Staff are trained to recognise and report safeguarding concerns.
6.3 Parents/guardians must collect children promptly at the end of sessions and ensure up-to-date emergency contact information is provided.

7. Photography & Media

7.1 We may take photos or videos for promotional purposes only with written parental/guardian consent.
7.2 Images will never be used without prior consent, and personal details will not accompany images unless additional permission is given.

8. Personal Property

8.1 JDB Sports Ltd is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings brought to sessions.
8.2 Participants are encouraged to bring only essential items.

9. Liability

9.1 JDB Sports Ltd is insured for public liability as required by law.
9.2 We are not liable for injuries arising from:

• Failure to follow instructions
• Pre-existing conditions not disclosed
• Misuse of equipment
• Behaviour of other participants
  9.3 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or serious injury caused by negligence.

10. Facilities & Equipment

10.1 We aim to provide safe facilities.
10.2 If a facility becomes unavailable, we will attempt to relocate or reschedule sessions.
10.3 Facility rules must be followed at all times.

11. Data Protection

11.1 JDB Sports Ltd processes personal information in accordance with UK GDPR.
11.2 Data will only be used for purposes related to bookings, safety, communication, and legal compliance.
11.3 Personal information is stored securely and never sold to third parties.

12. Online Services

12.1 For any online training, video coaching, or digital content:

• You must have a safe space to exercise.

• JDB Sports Ltd is not responsible for accidents in the home environment.

• Online content must not be copied, redistributed, or shared.

13. Weather Policy (Outdoor Sessions)

13.1 Sessions may continue in light rain or mild weather conditions.
13.2 Severe weather (storms, lightning, high winds, unsafe conditions) may result in cancellation.
13.3 Replacement sessions, credits, or refunds will be offered where appropriate.

14. Complaints

14.1 Complaints should be submitted in writing to our management team.
14.2 We will handle all concerns fairly, transparently, and in line with our safeguarding procedures where relevant.

15. Governing Law

15.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
15.2 Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
